Individual Strategic Projects
Smart-RF
To ensure that German radio communication technologies are competitive in the future market, innovative ideas and technologies such as reconfigurability, adaptivity and multi-functionality need to be applied. The Smart RF project's objective is to develop efficient, broadband, cost-optimised transceivers, to compensate imperfect characteristics of RF-Frontend by smart interaction of analoque an digital parts of the SDR component. The ideas being developed primarily relate to the frequency converter, the handling of amplifier nonlinearities and the adjustment of filters and antennae.
