Mobile Service Worlds - mobile service worlds in the mechanical engineering and plant engineering sector's international service area

The "Mobile Service Worlds" project involves two ICT research partners and four research and implementation partners from the mechanical engineering and plant engineering sectors and aims to develop, test and assess work scenarios in global onsite service deployment, and to demonstrate transferability to other sectors. The findings will use "beacon scenarios" to show which integrated mobile technologies can provide the best possible support to service technicians deployed onsite and help manufacturing companies to improve their services and products.
